Within Victoria Park we believe that young people should be given the chance to develop and enhance their skills within early years.
We provide these young people- normally aged between 17-21 the opportunity to work within our environment and learn the skills of a practitioner.
We use reputable training companies to train these assistants on the job to gain their qualifications in early years.
We have one assistant in each playroom and they are supported and mentored regularly by an experienced staff member who is qualified in their role.
They will shadow qualified staff in their role and work within the same guidelines as qualified practitioners.
